A dialogue between light, texture and nature

The foundation of this project is the creation of a small boutique stay, comprised of five rental apartments on an existing building. The interior has been through a complete renovation with even the interior walls getting repositioned. Five apartments ,25m² each, are arranged in a way that maximizes space efficiency without compromising comfort. Materials, light and earthly natural colors are used in a meticulous way to create authenticity and warmth.

The wall finish add depth and roughness while the archway pays respect to the local architecture of Crete blending a timeless design with traditional accents. Wooden details on the wardrobes, the headboards and the engraved decorative add warmth and a lavish style strengthening the suite's authenticity and timeless style.

The custom designed bedside chandeliers with the geometric pattern use the walls as a canvas reflecting light and adding vividness, tactile and visual warmth.

The wooden desk with the gentle curves and the drawers which blend seamlessly on the surface, integrate form with function, maintaining clear lines while the minimalist chair echoes the same design philosophy with its curved frame and light wood material. The rounded edge mirror with the wooden frame also blends with the design confirming that every detail was carefully selected to create calmness, authenticity and comfort.

The rest of the apartment follows the same essentials in material, color and design with the timber sofa and beding frames using gentle curves just like the desk, contributing to a visual continuity. The dark grey aluminum window and door frame serve as a visual contrast adding depth and modernity.

The bathroom presents a minimalist design characterized by clean lines and focused on texture. Shades of beige and light grey create a calm, refined atmosphere while hidden lighting in the celing enhance the calm ambiance of the space. The minimalist design of the furnitures match the tone of the appartment with the black finish of the toilet and its accessories adding visual contrast, ending the monotonic tone of the color palette.
