Contemporary furniture and lighting introduce a cosmopolitan character that enhances the interaction between the traditional Cretan architecture with the contemporary design.

The hotel lobby is conceived as a calm, sculpted threshold inspired by the intensity of the Mediterranean landscape. Carved beneath a soft vaulted ceiling, the space draws inspiration from traditional Greek construction: stone arches, cave like interiors, and shaded courtyards are reinterpreted through a contemporary architectural language.

Materials are restrained and tactile. Warm-toned local stone grounds the space, while timber elements most notably the vertical slatted partition introduce softness, scale, and acoustic comfort while separating the main lobby area with the stairway without breaking visual continuity. As a resuly a sense of openness is maintained while preserving intimacy.

The lobby is designed as an arrival ritual, intended to inspire, impress and intrigue the visitor: serene, rooted in place, and deeply connected to the Greek landscape and climate.

It is conceived as a seamless extension of the Mediterranean landscape where the exterior with the interior space combine into one fluid environment. Material selection is deliberately warm and tactile. Natural stone flooring grounds the interior with a sense of permanence, while timber furnishings enhance the minimalist language. The suite is designed not as a retreat from the landscape, but as a frame through which it is continuously experienced.

The Moonstone suite is designed as a compact yet layered living environment, balancing privacy, openness, and a continuous relationship with the Mediterranean landscape. The central wooden structure that encases the television on the living room side and is used as a wardrobe from the sleeping area acts as the primary architectural element within the suite. Rather than enclosing functions, it subtly separates the sleeping area from the living space while maintaining visual continuity and natural light flow. This freestanding element introduces depth, intimacy, and spatial hierarchy without fragmenting the room. Furniture is integrated into the architectural language rather than treated as decorative objects, reinforcing spatial clarity and calm.

Timber surfaces provide a sense of craftsmanship and , contrasting gently with smooth stone flooring that grounds the space and reinforces its connection to the landscape. The maisonette is organized as a two-level duplex, vertically layered to enhance privacy while preserving openness and visual flow. Upon entry, guests encounter a generous living lounge framed by full-height openings that lead directly to a private terrace and plunge pool. The upper mezzanine level houses the sleeping area, overlooking the main space and reinforcing the feeling of a private villa rather than a hotel room.

Arched stone portals anchor the design both structurally and symbolically, recalling classical Mediterranean architecture. These arches choreograph movement, guiding the eye outward and creating a constant dialogue with the surrounding landscape.

Materials are based in authenticity and warmth. Natural limestone and travertine prevails on the exterior. Warm oak and walnut woods together with soft toned tiles dominate the interior spacein the living and sleeping areas.

The limestone and travertine that dominate the surfaces enhances the connection with the regional construction traditions.

The scheme embraces an understated refinement with natural materials and a muted chromatic palette with warm beiges, natural oak joinery and muted blues recalling the Aegean sea. The decor is minimal and deliberate following the design language of warmth and simplicity.

In the bathroom large-format grey stone tiles wrap walls and floors, establishing a monolithic, spa like environment. Floating vanities in dark stone and timber introduce contrast, topped with sculptural round basins and minimalist chrome fixtures. Concealed LED strips provide soft ambient glow while backlit mirrors and linear ceiling lighting provide soft, even illumination.

The Ruby suite evolves into a panoramic, horizon focused composition. The designed is focused around the view and the sea, every corner of the interior turns into a platform overlooking the Agia Pelagia bay. Large openings allow the sea, the light and the landscape to become an integral part of the experience and softe the transition between the interior the exterior.

The design uses a combination of stone textures, timber, woven fibers, and brushed metal to create a palette that is calm, grounded, and unmistakably Mediterranean. Accents in charcoal, sand, and soft taupe, pale gray tiles, warm oak furnishing are built around a balanced, neutral spectrum so to allow the sunlight and the sea blues to illuminate the suite and ensure it is constantly connected to its setting.

A freestanding bathtub is placed behind a timber partition wall, blurring the boundary between sleeping and bathing zones and reinforcing the suite’s spa like, open plan character. From bed to bath to terrace, the suite reads as a single flowing composition shaped by light, breeze, and horizon.

The bathroom is crafted as an immersive wellness environment. Stone clad walls, pale gray tiles, timber walls and marble coated washbasin bench establish a monolithic, tranquil envelope with a luxurious and elegant touch while white vanities introduce sculptural clarity. Chrome fixtures remain minimal, allowing stone and timber to dominate the visual narrative.

The Emerald suite represents luxury and elegance while meanwhile offering a sense of tranquility and serenity. The design balances architectural clarity with sesual materiality producing an atmosphere that feels both grounded and elegant. The Emerald Suite is defined by serenity and openness. Rather than compartmentalized rooms, the layout promotes visual continuity and relaxed transitions.

A consistent Mediterranean palette anchors the suite like warm oak wall paneling and furnishing, soft grey tiled flooring while decorating accents in turquoise blue reflect the beauty of the surrounding sea and sky. These natural materials create a tactile, calming environment while reinforcing the hotel’s broader identity of contemporary luxury and Mediterranean living. Horizontal glazing openings frame both the pool edge and the coastal town of Agia Pelagia transforming them to paintings, allowing reflections to ripple across the interior and reinforcing the sensation of living directly alongside water.

In the bathroom, marble clad shower walls become the focal points together with the pile gray tiling and the timber coated flooring. White basins create a visual contrast with the dark stoned washbasin bench. Illumination by concealed led strips give an understated luxurious feel.

The terrace is conceived as an exterior living room suspended above the bay. A pergola filters Mediterranean sunlight, casting rhythmic shadows across stone paving. Glass balustrades maintain uninterrupted views across the coastline, while planted edges soften the architecture and provide privacy.

The Spa is conceived as a deeply immersive wellness sanctuary. The interior is carved from mineral surfaces, warm timber and sculptural furnishing. In contrast to the sunlit suites, the spa introduces a more sensorial atmospheric environment akin to what is expected from a wellness center. A striking blue veined marble coat dominates walls, plinths, and wet zones, creating a jewel like backdrop that feels both geological and aquatic. Its rich tonal variations like indigo, slate, and mineral grey, echo underwater landscapes and volcanic strata. Together, these materials establish a powerful contrast between cool mineral surfaces and warm tactile woods, reinforcing the spa’s relaxing ambiance.

Concealed LED coves trace ceiling edges and stone junctions, creating a floating, weightless effect that softens the heaviness of the marble surfaces. In the sauna cabins, integrated strip lighting washes timber benches with amber glow, emphasizing warmth and enclosure. Small candle-like luminaires placed on stone ledges add intimacy and ritualistic calm, reinforcing the atmosphere of slow, deliberate wellness.
